They don’t actually think anymore, they just say whatever comes into their heads ad hoc. Words have been Ohio State Buckeyes One Nation Under God Shirt so twisted and pulled that they’re meaningless to these people. All that remains and matters is what they WANT. I have always thought that taxing churches was a no brainer. But I have given it more thought, and now believe that it is probably best to leave it alone. Can you imagine all of the political clouts that organized religion would have if they actually paid taxes? It would be a disaster. Yes, they have clout now. But taxing them would open the floodgates of religious influence. No thanks.
Ohio State Buckeyes One Nation Under God Shirt Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, Hoodie
EDIT: I may be misinformed about the use Ohio State Buckeyes One Nation Under God Shirt and or misuse of 501 tax status with regards to churches. I know that some schools and other non-church religious organizations were strongly encouraged to register as 501 non-profits. A while back but my recall is imperfect and I am just some dude on the internet. So don’t take my word for anything. You need to check out more Facebook or speak to some deeply religious people. You’d be shocked by much they are influenced by preacher propaganda. Preachers would easily spin this as the devil trying to defund churches and destroy organized religion by taxing them.
