Do you mean bosses can care? Because my boss….doesn’t seem to. So the end of March when things started shutting down, Beautiful Essential Gun Shirt my boss/owner skipped out to her cabin on an island. I didn’t blame her, if I had a cabin on an island, I’d have fucked off as well. I manage the place for her, so myself and 1 other staff volunteered to stay working, we created a To-Go version of our business. It did decent actually, we sold about 20k worth of business in those 8 weeks of shutdown. Her own business could have used her help…but I understood, no judgement…it was a scary time, she’s got a family.

She decided I would be in charge of setting up guidelines for re-opening, Beautiful Essential Gun Shirt as I manage the business, work the “front lines” per se. I create the guidelines, post them update the website, social media, etc, discuss it with staff, reiterate how important it is to follow guidelines. Guideline 1…staff was going to wear masks. Well Day 1 of her being back after 2 months off…she says she’s not wearing a mask, doesn’t feel she needs to, that all these “silly rules” don’t make sense. I was flabbergasted. Still am. It’s been 2 weeks. All of her staff wear masks. She doesn’t. I’m mad for so many different reasons…but what the hell am I supposed to do. It’s her place. I told her how stupid I felt giving staff directions, making public promises to customers.

I didn’t have the balls to tell her how damn hypocritical it is to leave town scared, then come back laughing at people in.masks…but I wish I did. Come on balls…grow faster!!! This Beautiful Essential Gun Shirt doesn’t work for girls, does it? I’m rambling… apparently had to vent. Hell, I just visited the pharmacy inside a supermarket here in NorCal, and even one of the pharmacists had their mask pulled down below their nose. Like forsake, if any of the supermarket employees should understand the mechanism by which masks work, it would be the pharmacists. Good luck with your handful as well!
