Hey. I cloned out the bat, copying the right side of the chandelier and flipping it for the left side. Masked away some of the plastic with a low opacity brush for background show through. As already stated, compositing tutorials will show you the techniques tried pushing it a little further just to see how far I could get it, but I wasn’t consistent enough in laying it out as far as I can tell. x) The principles are sound as far as I’m aware, but my execution of them still has improvements to be made.

Desaturated the props and their shadows so that the prop darks aren’t as dark as the darkest darks (wrinkles and crevices in the suit are the darkest in the original image). Smudged Nice Yellow Baseball Shut Up I’m Keeping Score Shirt the bits of the suit that appear due to the opacity of the jug, to simulate the dispersion of light through the plastic. They should still be visible, but blurry, at least depending on the type and thickness of plastic. Added a very light touch of green on the inside of the hand and the edges of the suit, but that also may have been too much. With ambient light, it may not be enough to actually cast bounce light. That’s still something I have to do more research on.
