This sweater is a lot thicker than I anticipated. I thought it would be more light weight. I bought the blue sweater and it is exactly that color. The one negative I have is that it smelled horrible. I left the sweater in my car over night and it permiated the car for two days. It had a sour smell. Unpleasant. But it’s decent overall.

The price is right, however this does not run small, at least in the aqua size 2xl. It is a 2xl, however I needed a 1xl and read that it ran small. No worries, i ordered 1 to check the fit and ill keep it as a gift for someone else. I suggest ordering in the person’s actual size. This one happens to be 100% cotton, and the large was awfully snug on me out of the bag. With it being 100% cotton, I knew one wash would shrink it. I bought a few sweatshirts with this order, all large, and this was the only snug and returned one. I am 6′ and 210 pounds. Had it fit, it would have been a great shirt. I have not quite gotten around to reordering an extra large. I may just look for a blend, and order a large.

I ordered and received an XL and it proves to be a tad snug for my carcass. It is well made and warm but I will have to order another a size larger for my 6 foot frame. Too bad but at least my wife can wear it with plenty of extra room for her small size. I would suggest ordering one size larger than what you normally wear.

The shirt itself is fine but Hanes–which spent a lot of cash as I recall on commercials about how the products had no uncomfy tags–provided one here, inconventiently sewed into the bottom hem. When I tried to scissor it off I wound up with a hole. Please Hanes, you don’t need this non-biodegradable, ugly looking, scratchy crap–just do ink printing for product information like Amazon shirts do! BTW, theirs are also good and cheaper.

Very nice shirt in unique color he liked. Oddly though, it has a plastic-like tag sewn in the inside of the bottom hem. No way to remove it except to remove the stitches in the hem, then resew the hem. The tag is irritating to the skin. Printing the info on the inside of t-shirts works so much better.

I ordered a large and the shirt is much smaller than expected. Sleeve length is sort of OK but it fits tight across the chest and stomach. I’m 6’00” 170 lbs, so a large should be a good match. Perhaps I just got a mislabeled shirt, the quality control is poor or Hanes is trying to save $ by skimping on fabric.

The size is very small considering i ordered a men’s small, being a person that weighs 116 lbs and female i thought for sure following the size chart it would fit a little loosely, unfortunately I threw it straight into wash so I could wear it due to cold day and I couldn’t hardly get it on. So definitely check your size before washing in case you need to exchange. Other than that I will order large size cuz it is a nice shirt.

My theory is that since it’s difficult to try on shirts prior to buying manufacturers feel they can squeeze another buck out of the shirt by using less material. Make the darn shirts the correct size and simply add a dollar to the purchase price! I can’t imagine that it would be a problem for them. You think?

Really like these shirts and usually use them for cooler weather and winter undershirts. Would like to have them available in the safety orange and yellow like they have in the l/s beefy tees. The heather tan color one was poly cotton mix, all the others are 100% cotton. No complaints about any of them.

I’m 5’9″, 160lbs, and the medium is a little more snug on the body than other medium shirts I wear, at least with a t-shirt underneath. The sleeves are a good length, so I don’t want to go up to a large. I bought the green with gray sleeves. The tag says the body is 100% cotton and the sleeves are 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Overall, I like the shirt, and would buy again.

For a basic inexpensive long sleeve henley, this is a great shirt! I am a 45 inch chest with 34/35 inch sleeves and the fit of an XL is about perfect with the sleeves being just a touch longer than I would like. I’m pretty sure a few more washings and dryings will solve that issue though.
