Our weapons training is ingrained into us. Our daily routine is a structured process the Nice Cheyney BCU Black Ivy League Shirt moment we receive our weapon and holster it and turn it in. We only draw when we must, and sure as hell will get destroyed if we pull a weapon on someone when it isn’t justified. The difference really is in continued training and certainly the accountability in the performance of duty. Cops get their basic training and are handed off to other cops to school them in more of a fraternity way of operating, overseeing themselves with far fewer restrictions, and dealing with civilians.

For many years it was owned by the ministry of defense. So the Military Police had joint jurisdiction with the civilian police.
During that time the civilian police hated the MPs because they Nice Cheyney BCU Black Ivy League Shirt would report them if they just beat up some innocent hippies. The MPs were also invariably polite – as a civilian. I have been stopped by them many times, and it was always a good experience; they had a job to do, and they understood how to do it while at the same time behaving like officers and gentlemen. In 1971 hippies occupied a newly closed military base in the center.
