But I do get what you’re saying. I’m still making a little Alway Be Yourself Unless You Can Be A Bigfoot Then Al Ways Be A Bigfoot Shirt side-eye at all the people who changed their stance overnight (on both sides) and claiming the other side are all hypocrites. You seem to struggle with understanding the difference of separating an argument made when enacting a rule from applying the rule after the argument was settled. Doesn’t matter what the Dems argue for because the senate, by the majority, agreed to a standard operating procedure. I didn’t see evidence the argument was settled. To me, it looked like Republicans ‘won’ and the dems maintained their position that it was bullshit and shouldn’t happen… until yesterday.

Always Be Yourself Unless You Can Be A Bigfoot Then Al Ways Be A Bigfoot Shirt Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, Hoodie
Again, I’m not implying the Republicans are right. They’re huge Alway Be Yourself Unless You Can Be A Bigfoot Then Al Ways Be A Bigfoot Shirt hypocrites here. I just think it’s a little silly how pure the democrats are pretending to be when they were saying the exact opposite before RBG’S passing. You must not be able to see Gorsuch then. The issue was in fact settled because a decision on how to proceed was presented and a decision not to allow a nomination in an election year was the result. The Democrats were rightfully pissed. The silver lining of losing that issue in 2016 would be getting the chance to have the rule applied in the same fashion in 2020.
